Morning to you. It's mid week - Wednesday. The actual count down til PoBoy no longer has to get up for work is 163 days. Gee! PoBoy is now a short timer!
PoBoy didn't realize just how boring work can be. For a man and nowdays for women too, work is a lifetime "parole." We are like the mule who has a water bucket dangling in front of his nose. All we do is trudge forward to a time in the future that we hope will be better. With our length of life extended as it is, it seems to me we should begin our work career when we are 40 years of age.
Now that would make a fantastic "double" retirement. Enjoy your youthful years, and prepare for a future after 20 years of work. Now that would be fantastic. PoBoy says that because of all that wasted valulable time, we miss the best minutes of life. Imagine drawing social security at age 18 until you reach 40. Then you receive a letter from the social security department stating you must now go to work. So you work for 20 years only to receive a second letter from social security -- you can now retire. Interesting concept.
PoBoy is still waiting for pictures of his retirement trailer. It's supposedly all set up, including the Florida room, waiting for him. As soon as pictures arrive PoBoy will post them somehow.
PoBoy was watching the science station last night. The show concerned the demise of planet earth -- billions of years away yet. But a scientist made a remark that seemed unusual: "a star is born, lives, and dies, just like a human." Maybe PoBoy is a "star." Always wanted to be anyway.
Well PoBoy wishes everyone the very best life possible. A word of advice, start saving today for tomorrow. Save what you can it is good to develop a habit. If you wait as long as the PoBoy did, you'll find out just how difficult life can be.
For those of you interested in PoBoy's "furry family" they are all doing great. PoBoy's bed is not doing great as now all four of the furry friends sleep with him. This might make a great soap opera: "The Crowded Bed!" LOL LOL
